About us

Remind Patients is brought to you by the same team that developed Truancy Call

Truancy Call used their skills in telecommunications to develop an automated system to remove the burden of calling all the parents of absent children in schools, thus making it possible for all schools to achieve the first day contact. In addition we were able to extend this so that an actual real-time response was received from those parents.

What our customers say

  • "We do not have a particular problem with truancy but parents are not that great at phoning us when their children are ill. Before the system was installed we had a member of staff making an average of 50 calls a day, that was incredibly time consuming"
  • "(Truancy Call) has had a dramatic effect reducing the number of unauthorised absences from 1,200 last year to 150 this year"
  • "Previously we didn't have the time or resources to make telephone contact with parents on the first day of their child's absence so this is an improvement"
  • "This is pretty state-of-the-art. It has been successful in terms of raising awareness among students that we are monitoring attendance"
  • "Authorised absences has dropped at our school from nearly 11 per cent of school time last term to 6.68 per cent. The rate of unauthorised absences is down from more then four per cent to 2.9 per cent"
